Today was SO nice! We woke up this morning, planning on going to church, but after looking outside at the rainy, cold weather we slept through. It ended up being a really nice morning. We woke up late (even Reese) and when I woke up I made pancakes and eggs. We made a fire and watched The Count of Monte Cristo and then some football. Adam took firewood and soup over to Sandy and then he came home to find me and Reese in the backyard playing in the snow. Honestly, we didn’t really do much “playing” being that it was FREEZING, but I took some quick pictures before her nose turned too red! Tonight we watched episodes from Season 6 of The Office, ate an amazing chicken piccata dinner that Adam made, and we’re about to eat cookies and play Yahtzee. Overall, just a snuggie day!
Friday night we went over to Alison and Phillip’s to play games and had a great time. Saturday Adam helped Gary rake leaves in Paris and then we had our annual Martin chili cookoff, which turned into spaghetti this year instead of chili. We stayed there until midnight and came home and crashed. What a great weekend! Here are a few pictures from Reese’s first official time in the snow. Even though she was born when it was snowing this was her first real time to experience it!
