Big Change

This update is a few weeks late, but I still wanted to post about it.  Adam was at his previous job for 7 years.  He truly loved it and it was such a blessing to our family.  However, one downfall has always been the drive.  He would have about an hour commute, one way, every day.  One day we were driving around a neighborhood and came across a home that was "For Sale by Owner".  We have been looking at homes here and there so we decided to call on it.  The following weekend we went to look at the home to find out it was outside of our price range.  However, when talking to the owners we found out that they both worked at a place that was interviewing for the position that Adam currently has, except it was located 10 minutes from our house!  The owner said, "I can get you an interview on Monday".  After a lot of prayer and discussion Adam decided to go on the interview and it went wonderfully.  Fast forward to today and Adam has been there going on the end of his fourth week.  He actually came home and had lunch with Reese and me today and it was SO nice.  Since before we got married Adam has always had a long commute and it's amazing having him so close!  I had just prayed about his job and gave it to my growth group girls as a prayer request a few days before we saw the "For Sale by Owner" house.  It amazes me how God opens doors out of absolutely nowhere.  I am learning so much more about the power of prayer.  We feel so truly blessed.
